Andrea is passionate about supporting healthy child development, positive mental health, and secure attachment. For over 20 years Andrea has worked with children, adults, and families heal and overcome life’s challenges.

Andrea is adoption-competent and has an extensive background working with families and professionals in foster care and permanency planning. She is available for consultations and training for caregivers and professionals who wish to learn more about the complexities that children in care experience and how to better support more positive outcomes for their futures.

Irlanda believes in meaningful connections as a powerful tool for clients to connect with their truest self. Irlanda works from the approaches of attachment theory, narrative theory, and positive psychology. Her background in neuropsychology drives her to integrate the mind and body’s natural processes in understanding and addressing trauma.

My approach is warm, empathetic, and client-centered, aiming to create a safe and supportive space where individuals can explore their feelings and develop emotion regulation and coping skills. Drawing from my academic training and practical experiences, I employ various therapeutic techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. I am committed to fostering resilience, promoting growth, and empowering my clients to live fulfilling lives. I am excited to embark on this journey of healing and transformation with you.

Nyla’s approach to counselling is person-centred, trauma-informed, and holistic in nature. Nyla believes in working with the client alongside their family and that a systems approach to counselling can aid in foundational healing within the family unit. With roots in Indigenous values, she hopes to foster positive relationships with both parent and child and seeks to restore the wellness within a family through an anti-oppressive lens and in a culturally safe and warm environment.

Nyla believes that through the power of connection positive change can occur. “I hope to help those I work with find their personal agency and to restore their confidence in developing a healthy relationship with self and others”.
